Asante Kotoko defender, Imoro Ibrahim has rated himself as the best left-back in the country.
The young defender has been a livewire under Prosper Nartey Ogum and played a key role as the Porcupine Warriors annexed the 2021/22 Ghana Premier League.
Imoro’s exclusion from Black Stars in the recent call-up for Madagascar and the Central Africa Republic [CAR] dominated the local media due to his excellent performance.
“Yeah, I have worked for it so I see myself as the best left back in the country,” he told GHOne TV.
“There are other good players but I am the best,” he added.
The full-back enjoyed a roller-coaster campaign for the Porcupine Warriors, scoring two goals and providing eight assists in 27 appearances for the most successful Ghanaian club.
Imoro is expected to be in Kotoko’s side ahead of their CAF Champions League campaign next season.
Imoro is currently at the camp of the Black Galaxies preparing for their assignment.
