Ghana’s coach, Otto Addo, expressed disappointment following the Black Stars’ 0-0 draw with Sudan in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers on Thursday.
The senior national team dominated the game at the Accra Sports Stadium but failed to capitalize on their chances, leaving them in a precarious position.
Speaking to the media after the game, Addo said, “The chances were there today, but this is football.”
“This result hurts even more than the results against Niger and Angola because I think we deserved to win, but I am disappointed,” he added.
Ghana sit third in the Group F standings, two points behind Sudan, who have four points after three games.
Coach Otto Addo and his team face Sudan in the reverse fixture on Tuesday in Libya.
