In a career-defining move that has elevated his status in the footballing world, Antoine Semenyo, the striker who made a high-profile switch from Bristol City to Bournemouth in the winter transfer of 2023 for 10,300,000 euros, is relishing his Premier League venture.
Semenyo scored his first league goal for the Cherries on 30 April 2023 in a 4-1 home win over Leeds United.
“It is always tough whether you are playing in the Championship or the Premier League it is always going to be hard but I am happy I am playing in the Premier League right now,” he said.
“I am improving every day learning from players so just taking it as they come really and get more goals,” he added.
The Bournemouth striker is part of the 25 man squad called up by Black Stars coach Chris Hughton for the 2026 World Cup qualifiers against Comoros and Madagascar.
He has scored two goals in nine appearances for Bournemouth in the Premier League this season.
