Former Black Meteors captain Yaw Yeboah has reiterated his readiness to play for the Black Stars at the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations.
The 26-year-old has made four appearances for Ghana and hasn’t featured for the senior national team in 2023.
However, he has been included in the 55 man provisional list named by coach Chris Hughton for the Afcon.
“For me, I am always ready. Whenever I have the chance to represent the country, I will make sure I am always ready,” Yeboah told JoySports.
“The world has seen it. Ghanaians have seen it so right now I will get myself ready for whatever happens.
“I can’t stop. Nothing stops me. I just have to keep playing well, training well and whatever happens in future happens.” Yeboah stated.
Yeboah returned from the 2023 MLS season as a double winner, clinching the Eastern Conference and the MLS Cup.
