Evelyn Nsiah Asare’s election as the first female Vice President of the Sports Writers Association of Ghana (SWAG) marks a historic moment in the organization’s leadership.
Out of the 193 votes cast, she secured 128, representing 48.12% of the total, unseating the incumbent, Mr. Maurice Quansah, who had held the position.
Her victory symbolizes a significant step forward in promoting gender diversity and inclusion within SWAG.
