Former GFA Technical Director, Francis Oti Akenteng, has thrown his weight behind Hearts of Oak’s decision to appoint Mas-Ud Didi Dramani as their new head coach.
Dramani, who previously served as Black Stars assistant coach and had stints with CAF and Asante Kotoko, is expected to lead the Phobians in the upcoming 2025/26 Ghana Premier League season.
He is reportedly keen to work with Abdul Gazalle and Fiifi Parker Hanson as part of his technical team.
Hearts of Oak are seeking a return to the summit of Ghanaian football after finishing fourth last season.
“Didi Dramani is evergreen. He is always researching and learning on the job. He has enormous experience, and I believe Hearts of Oak will never regret appointing him,” said Oti Akenteng.
“He has worked at CAF, with Black Stars, and with Asante Kotoko. He knows the work of coaching, and I sanction this decision by the Hearts of Oak hierarchy,” he added.
The club is expected to make the official announcement soon as preparations intensify for the new season.
