Hearts have reignited interest in former Medeama coach Tom Strand, according to multiple reports in Ghana.
Hearts are seeking to sign the 33-year-old in a sensational swoop in the coming days.
The Swedish will arrive in the country in the coming weeks to firm up a deal to take over the Phobians, according to media reports.
Strand has been a long-term target for the Accra side since his days at Medeama and has been hugely tipped to replace interim coach Yaw Preko.
The former Bechem United gaffer went missing following Medeama 3-1 defeat to Mamelodi Sundowns in a Confederation Cup match in May this year.
He has enjoyed an extensive holiday in his native Sweden and appear reinvigorated for the top job in the Ghanaian capital.
Strand joined Medeama in December 2014 and led them to an 11th-place finish in the league last season.
