Board member of Hearts of Oak, Dr. Nyaho Nyaho-Tamakloe, has expressed optimism that the club’s recent struggles will be addressed before the start of the 2024/25 season.
The Phobians narrowly escaped relegation last season by the skin of their teeth and recently lost to Asante Kotoko in the maiden edition of the Democracy Cup.
It is understood the club has parted company with 17 players in a bid to turn things around.
“We have a problem at the moment, but that problem will come to an end before the start of the league 2024-2025,” he told Joy Sports.
“And my reason is quite simple. You know, we have a coach we think can be stable and then be able to pick the best of boys that we need, have good control over them and give them the training that they require.”
The 2024/2025 Ghana Premier League campaign is set to kick off on September 6.
