Hearts of Oak midfielder Amankwa Baafi insists the club still has his sights on the Ghana Premier League title following their 2-1 win over Nsoatreman FC on Sunday.
The youngster was the standout performer as the Phobians picked up a hard fought victory on matchday 26 at the Accra Sports Stadium.
The former champions forced an own goal from Nsoatreman midfielder Philip Ofori in the 15th minute to open the scoring before Yaw Baafi added to the tally in the 66th minute with a well-taken strike.
The win takes Hearts of Oak up to the third spot on the standings- 5 points behind leaders Aduana.
“It was a good win for us because we are targeting the league and we are taking it step by step so it’s a good win for us.
“My performance I will say is good because our coach initially told us to be mobile upfront and that is what we did and we got the result.” Amankwah Baafi told StarTimes.
