Hearts of Oak star Salifu Ibrahim has lauded Bofoakwa Tano’s character following their stalemate in the Ghana Premier League matchday 20 clash.

The Phobians played out a 1-1 draw against the Sunyani-based club on Monday at the WAFA Park in Sogakope.

The game saw Emmanuel Agyenim Boateng equalize for Bofoakwa Tano, cancelling out Salifu Ibrahim’s opening goal, leading to a 1-1 stalemate.

After the game, the former Eleven Wonders talisman who emerged as the man of the match praised Bofoakwa Tano’s character in the game after coming from behind to draw.

“Bofoakwa Tano showed character and it helped them. They did their best in the game. we wanted to win but it didn’t happen so we will go back and work for our next game against Dreams FC”

Despite the draw, Hearts of Oak remains in the 8th position on the league table. They will hope to bounce back in their next game against Dreams FC.
