Hearts of Oak sign goalkeeper Benjamin Asare, part ways with three others

Hearts of Oak have confirmed the departure of three goalkeepers after signing Benjamin Asare from Great Olympics.

Those departed are Richmond Ayi, Richard Attah and Eric Ofori Antwi after having an unsuccessful campaign last season.

In an meet the press interview, Hearts coach Aboubakar Ouattara confirmed: “Those players (Richard Attah, Richmond Ayi and Eric Ofori Antwi) are no more with us.”

Asare who had a successful season despite Olympics suffering relegation joins the Phobian family on a two-year contract.

The 32-year-old kept 16 cleansheets in 34 appearances for the Dade lads in the just ended season.
