In a recent development, Hearts of Oak has decided to host their week 20 Ghana Premier League match against Bofoakwa Tano at Sogakope Wafa Park, marking a departure from their initial plan to move to Kumasi Baba Yara Stadium.
The club announced on Wednesday that due to the unavailability of the Accra Sports Stadium and Cape Coast Stadium—both occupied by the 13th African Games—their game against the Hunters will now take place in Sogakope.
This venue change is on the back of the challenges posed by the African Games, prompting the Phobians to adjust their home ground for the upcoming fixture.
The team has shown formidable form in the second round of the league, securing consecutive victories over Real Tamale United and Nsoatreman FC.
These recent triumphs have propelled the Accra-based giants to 7th in the league standings, amassing 27 points from 19 games in the ongoing campaign.
