Hearts of Oak restructure technical team ahead of President Cup as new season looms

Hearts of Oak have put together formidable technical brains ahead of their President Cup tie against Kotoko on July 6 and the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League season.

Following a dissapointing season by Hearts’ standards, finishing in the Ghana Premier League top four, head coach Aboubakar Ouattara was elevated to technical advisor, paving way for Didi Dramani to sign a two-year deal with the club.

A strong supporting cast have been assembled to help restore the glory days of the Phobians, who last won the Ghana Premier League in 2021.

The first task of the newly appointed team – who comprise of Didi Dramani (head coach), Abdulai Gazale (assistant coach), Fiifi Hanson Parker (assistant coach) and Najau Issah (goalkeeper’s trainer) – will be to defeat Asante Kotoko in the 2025 President’s Cup.

The Phobians also have the opportunity to reassert their dominance on the continent when they travel to Nigeria to play in the Eko Cup.

The newly assembled team were reportedly present at Hearts of Oak’s training grounds on Friday as they look to hit the ground running.
