Hearts of Oak head coach Samuel Boadu targets win over Great Olympics this weekend

The head coach of Hearts of Oak, Samuel Boadu has indicated that his team will be aiming for a win in the game against Accra rivals Great Olympics.

The Phobians last weekend travelled to Dormaa for the opening weekend of the 2022/23 football season.

In a game against Aduana Stars, Hearts of Oak lost by a goal to nil at the end of the 90 minutes.

Speaking ahead of the second game of the season against Great Olympics, Coach Samuel Boadu says his team will approach the game as if it is a final.

The gaffer said, “Our focus now is to bounce back to face Great Olympics on Sunday.

“This is another game that will excite the fans because of the huge rivalry. It is a very important game for the two teams and their followers; we’ll approach it as if it’s a final game.”

The derby between Hearts of Oak and Great Olympics is scheduled to be played at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday, September 15.
