Accra Hearts of Oak have stepped up their preparations for the 2025/26 season by moving their pre-season camp to the Army Combat Training School in Teshie, marking the beginning of a more intense second phase of training.

After completing initial conditioning work at their Kpobiman training complex, the team is now undergoing a demanding military-style regimen designed to build not only physical strength but also mental resilience and unity within the squad.

Head Coach Mas-Ud Didi Dramani is spearheading the sessions, which are structured to push players to their limits in a controlled, science-based environment.

“This phase is about more than just fitness,” Dramani explained. “It’s about testing mental endurance, understanding individual thresholds, and developing the strength and discipline to keep going under pressure.”

With a strong focus on physiological development, the training includes exercises aimed at improving stamina, muscular endurance, and mental sharpness. The coaching and fitness staff are closely monitoring workloads to strike a balance between intensity and recovery, ensuring players build durability without risking injury.

“This is not about overworking the players, but preparing them in a smart, efficient way for the physical and mental demands of a long campaign,” said a member of the club’s performance team.

Hearts are expected to remain at the Teshie facility for several more days before transitioning to tactical and game-specific training sessions in the lead-up to the new season.
