Hearts of Oak Assistant Coach Nana Yaw Amankwah has pinpointed the team’s issues following their 2-0 defeat to Heart of Lions in the Ghana Premier League.
Nana Kwame Oppong and Ishmael Addo netted to inflict the Phobians’ second consecutive defeat in their first two games of the Ghanaian top-flight campaign.
The defeat has increased the pressure on coach Aboubakar Ouattara and the playing body as they languish at the bottom of the table.
“The problem is how to score and defend very well,” he said at the post match.
“We could see this game we played very well throughout the first half, the second half, we did well but immediately we did changes due to injuries we know the rest were going to do well, but unfortunately, they couldn’t.”
The Phobians host Bechem United at the Accra Sports Stadium in their Week 3 fixture.
