Former Hearts of Oak board member Frank Nelson says the club needs a true game changer to compete at the highest level ahead of the 2025/26 season.
Speaking on Kessben FM after watching the Phobians lose 2-1 to Asante Kotoko in the President’s Cup, Nelson stressed the need for a player who can control games and shift momentum.
“Hearts of Oak need a game changer; someone who can hold the ball and dictate play. That’s what we lacked against Kotoko,” he said.
Hearts finished in the top four last season, a big leap from their near-relegation scare the year before. With Didi Dramani now at the helm, the club is targeting the Ghana Premier League title.
