Hearts midfielder Ansah wants local Black Stars chance

Hearts midfielder Obed Ansah believes he has done enough to a merit a place in the Local Black Stars.

The box-to-box enforcer was instrumental in the surging run of the phobians particularly in the second half of the season.

Ansah has shockingly been overlooked by the technical handlers of the Local Black Stars preparing for the CHAN qualifier against Benin.

But the 26-year-old wants to be given the chance to stake a claim for himself.

“I know what I can do and so I am only asking for a chance to be in the team,” Ansah said

“What am asking for is the opportunity. I know my abilities and know what I can do.

“When given the chance, I will prove myself to the technical handlers that I deserve to be in the team.”

The workaholic midfielder helped Hearts to finish a respectable 5th on the League table after a rather difficult start.
