Hearts captain Mahatma Otoo admits the ‘pressure is on’

Hearts captain Mahatma Otoo admits the club’s ‘hot and cold’ start to the season has increased pressure on the players.

Confidence in the team had sky-rocketed after their 5-2 demolishing of New Edubiase at home two weeks ago.

But their 3-1 embarrassing defeat to Ebusua Dwarfs last weekend has raised concerns the team might not be unstoppable after all.

They come up against All Stars in the late kick-off on Wednesday and the former Sporting Mirren skipper says dropping points in the season will no longer be acceptable.

“The end of everything is better than the beginning. Though we lost to Dwarfs, that is football and for now we want to beat All Stars and get back to winning ways,” Otoo told 90 Minutes newspaper

“We lost so there is pressure,  a lot of pressure in camp, our fans are always expecting a win so we have to do something against All Stars.

Hearts have scored 7 goals in three matches and conceded six in the process.
