Heart of Lions goalkeeper’s trainer Stephen Ahorlu has attributed his side’s slow to the 2023/2024 Ghana Premier League campaign to “inexperience”.
The Volta-based side are unbeaten in the Ghanaian top flight, extending it to five matches after playing 2-2 away from home against Bibiani Gold stars on Monday at the Duns Park.
But they are yet to pick up their first win of the season.
“What I can I say small about our return is, most of our players are the whole set that we used in Division One,” Ahorlu said in an interview with Radio Gold Sports.
“We just have one player from Kotoku Royals who played last season in the premiership and even that player is injured.
“Most of them are from different clubs, first division players so you can see it is a little bit inexperience but as time goes on I hope things will be better.
“They are now seeing how the prayer is so as time goes on things will be changing.” Stephen Ahorlu told Radio Gold Sports.
They lie 15th with 5 points and will next face Karela United in week seven at the Hohoe stadium.
