Heart of Lions’ head coach, Bashir Hayford, has shared his vision for the team’s 2025/26 Ghana Premier League campaign.
After four matches, the team tops the league with 10 points, remaining unbeaten.
Hayford reflected on his tenure, saying, “When I took over the club, the club was battling with relegation, but we managed to escape relegation, and last season we managed to finish in the top four, which is good for a team like Heart of Lions.”
He emphasized consistency and stability as key goals, stating, “This season, what we want to achieve this season is to finish in a safe position in the first round and further finish in a safe place at the end of the season.”
The team will face fellow unbeaten side Hearts of Oak at the Kpando Sports Stadium on Sunday, seeking to extend their impressive unbeaten run.
