Manchester City’s new signing Erling Braut Haaland has praised Black Stars coach Otto Addo for his tremendous role in talent development at Borussia Dortmund.
The centre-forward described the BVB talent coach as “the best” during his two year stay in Germany.
Haaland, who has risen to become one of the most prolific strikers in the world, acknowledged the contribution of Addo in a documentary.
“That’s the biggest legend,” Haaland said in a documentary during his last days at Dortmund.
“If we talk about the biggest legends in this club,[it is] this guy [Otto Addo]. He’s the best one,” he noted.
The former Salzburg completed a £51.2m transfer to Manchester City from the Black and Yellows on Monday.
Addo is expected to steer Ghana through the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers in September and the World Cup two months later.
