Hoffenheim coach, Pellegrino Matarrazo Has opened up about the qualities of Ghana international Kassim Nuhu Adams.
The defender has been at the German Bundesliga club since 2018 but is yet to play a significant role.
Speaking on why Kassim Nuhu Adams is not getting playing time, Hoffenheim coach, Pellegrino Matarrazo has disclosed that it’s down to the competition in the team.
He said he admires the Ghana defender, adding that he is a strong defender who has a lot of composure even when he is under pressure.
“Kasim has his qualities, he can defend hard, he is good on the ball, he is composed even under pressure. Every once in a while he has situations that are not stable that lead to maybe goals against.
Kasim’s performing in training, its just a question of competition.
“I can’t take six defenders with me on a roaster. I take 5. It’s always about a balanced roaster so that I can adapt to every situation during a match. But he is training well. I’m a big fan as a footballer and as a human being,” Hoffenheim coach, Pellegrino Matarrazo said.
Despite his lack of playing time, Kassim Nuhu has been a regular member of the Black Stars in recent times.
