In an interview aired by Kumasi-based Pure FM, former Hearts of Oak Team Manager W. O. Tandoh has cast a racial slur on Dutch trainer Erik van der Meer.
van der Meer, 55, is set to be named as a replacement for Samuel Boadu who was dismissed on Tuesday morning following a string of bad results.
The 2017 head coach of Hungarian side Budapest Honvéd FC has not yet been confirmed as the head coach for the former African champions.
However, Tandoh has already gone ballistic on the tactician unleashing diarrhea of loose talks and attacks on the coach.
“You people have sacked Samuel Boadu and appointed this caucasian vulture. He will also fail and after five games he would be sacked,” he said in the interview.
According to highly placed sources within the capital club, van der Meer would be appointed to the role of a head coach in the coming days.
Meanwhile, Kumasi-based Pure FM has also reported that he would be named as the Technical Director of the club while former Kotoko coach Prosper Narteh Ogum would be named the new head coach.
