Gyan, the star of Ghana’s World Cup campaign under the Serbian in South Africa in June has moved to the Premiership for a fee that Sunderland say is in excess of £13m. Rajevac whose Ghana side have been major beneficiaries of Gyan’s sporadic efficiency in front of goal believes the striker will have a good time in England. “He has proven to be a very good striker at the highest level and he showed that at the World Cup,” Rajevac told KickOffGhana.com. “I think playing in the best league in the world will make him better and suit him too.” The 24-year old scored 13 goals for Stade Rennes last season and has been on target six times in two major tournaments for Ghana this year. England is the third country Gyan will be playing in outside Ghana after spells in Italy and France.
