Manager of Arsenal, Mikel Arteta has expressed his excitement about the return of Thomas Partey to the team following a month-long thigh injury layoff.
The Ghanaian midfield gem, who suffered groin injury from the start of September, has started training with the Gunners.
His comeback provides Arteta with added squad depth during this demanding stretch of the season for the Gunners.
Arteta said: “He’s progressed really well in the last two weeks and he managed to train in the last two or three days with the team and that’s great news for us obviously.
“I think his progression in the last week has been very good. He might have some exposure tomorrow depending how the game goes.
Partey could be fit before Arsenal crossed sword with Manchester City in a titanic clash this weekend in English Premier League game.
