Accra-based side Great Somas Football Club have announced the appointment of Kanduri Moses as the new Board Chairman, marking the start of a new leadership era for the Division Three outfit.
Moses, whose experience spans both football management and corporate leadership, is expected to oversee the strategic direction of the club and its academy setup.
His new role also extends to the Great Somas Academy Colts Club, a renowned talent hub that has produced several promising Ghanaian players.
According to the club’s management, the decision to hand him the position was influenced by his proven record in sports administration and his connections across the football landscape.
Moses has previously contributed to Ghana’s football development, notably supporting the organization of the national team’s international friendly against Chile in 2012, while also collaborating with various South American national sides over the years.
As Board Chairman, his focus will include strengthening the club’s structures, creating international pathways for young players, and positioning Great Somas as a model of professionalism and community-driven football.
The Great Somas Academy continues to build on its legacy of nurturing talents, with notable graduates such as Mathew Anim Cudjoe, Raymond Asante, Samuel Gidi, Stephen Sackey (Precision FC, Dubai), Solomon Sosu (Al Ain, on loan to Al Nasr), Daniel Nunoo (SK Rapid), William Kumadu (San Diego, USA), and Ernest Ofori, currently with the Black Starlets.
