Liberty Professional came from a goal down to beat Ebusua Dwarfs 3-1 in the first match of the Ghana Premier League play-offs.
Ebusua Dwarfs took the lead in the 6th minutes after Richard Addai’s header resulted in a goal.
Liberty Professional equalized as William Oduro gave out an assist from a close distance to Macadjei on the 10th of play to level the scoreline.
William then turned into a scorer to give the scientific soccer lads a 2-1 lead at halftime.
15 minutes into the second half, Liberty extended the lead from a spot kick by William, his second of the afternoon.
Ebusua Dwarfs had all the chances in the last department of the game but could not convert it into goal.
The win put Liberty Professional at a great chance of securing a place in the Betpawa Premier LeagueL next season.
The Dansoman-based club will take on Tamale City in the next round of the playoff on August 6.
