Asante Kotoko defeated Medeama SC in a five goal thriller with Albert Amoah finding the back of the net thrice.
Medeama were the first to break the deadlock as Kingsley Braye slotted in a neat 5th minute finish.
Hosts Kotoko restored parity via a spot kick where forward Albert Amoah clinically executed in the 23rd minute.
Few minutes to halftime, Amoah doubled his tally on the day with a powerful header to put Kotoko ahead.
The visitors fought back to level matters through Manuel Mantey in the 67th minute.
But Amoah decided the tie with a well taken goal in the 78th minute to win it for the Porcupines.
The victory does not not hand Kotoko an advantage in the title race as they still trail leaders Nations FC by two points who have two matches remaining.
Meanwhile, Medeama sit fifth on the league table.
