Medeama SC secured a commanding 2-0 victory over Bibiani Gold Stars in their Week 11 Ghana Premier League clash on Sunday at the Tarkwa TnA Park, bringing Gold Stars’ impressive 10-match unbeaten streak to an end.
Derrick Fordjour gave Medeama an early advantage with a goal in the 2nd minute, setting the tone for the match.
Kelvin Nkrumah then doubled the lead in the 79th minute to seal all three points for the Mauves and Yellows.
The result saw Bibiani Gold Stars drop to second place on the league table with 20 points, while Medeama SC climbed to fifth with 18 points, tightening the race at the top.
