Bibiani GoldStars’ CEO, Kwasi Adu, is confident that his team will make a significant impact in the CAF Champions League.
After clinching their first-ever Ghana Premier League title with 63 points, GoldStars secured a maiden appearance in Africa’s premier club competition.
Adu emphasized that the club is well-prepared and resourced to compete at the continental level, thanks to the backing of a mining conglomerate.
“I’m looking forward that we escape the Prelims and join the proper competition,” he told 3Sports
Despite skepticism surrounding their readiness, Adu urged fans and stakeholders to give the team respect, citing the club’s strategic planning, strong management, and ambitious vision.
GoldStars aims to qualify for the “money zone” and has sought advice from experienced Ghanaian clubs.
The team will face FA Cup champions Asante Kotoko in a Champion of Champions clash on August 31 to fine-tune their preparations.
