Golden Kick SC attacking midfielder Dacosta Owusu is on the verge of completing a move to an Estonian club before the end of this month.
The talented playmaker, who played a crucial role in Golden Kick’s recent campaign, had attracted strong interest from Ghanaian giants Asante Kotoko.
Despite Kotoko submitting a formal proposal to sign him, Owusu is now expected to continue his career in Europe, with the Estonian club stepping ahead in negotiations.
His imminent departure comes as a blow to the Porcupine Warriors, who saw the 20-year-old as a potential creative spark in their rebuild for the upcoming Ghana Premier League season.
Owusu’s rise at Golden Kick has earned him a reputation as one of the most promising midfielders in the local circuit, having led his side to the finals of the MTN FA Cup.
