Gold Stars test leaders Aduana FC at Bibiani Monday

Bibiani Gold Stars – unbeaten in their last six betPawa Premier League games have a tough test against leaders Aduana FC at the DUN’s Park on Monday.

The home side would aim to continue with their unbeaten run in 6 matches – with their last defeat in the League coming against Hearts of Oak on Saturday, October 29, 2022. League leaders Aduana FC have not been bad on the road this season – as they have picked three wins, two defeats in five away matches played thus far.

After a home win against Accra Hearts of Oak on Matchday one, the Dormaa lads beat King Faisal 3-2 in Kumasi before recording victories against Medeama SC (1-0) and Accra Great Olympics (1-0). The two-time champions will be without their top scorer Bright Adjei- with the man set for a foreign spell after signing a deal with Tanzania side Singinda Big Stars FC.

Gold Stars have won three of their last five games with two draws and sit 3rd place with 17 points with just three points separating them from the League leaders. Aduana FC lead the table with 20 points and have recorded two wins, two losses and one draw in their last five League games.

Michael Osei’s side will defend on top scorer Ibrahim Laar (five goals), Evans Owusu, Noah Martey, Samuel Amofa and Michael Enu. Coach Samuel Fabians’s side will have Solomon Aboagye, Sam Adams, Emmanuel Gyamfi, Justus Torsutsey and Alex Boakye available to or selection as they step out in search of the three points to extend their lead at the top of the League table.

Aduana FC could go four points clear if they overcome the Bibiani side on Monday – whereas a win for Gold Stars would take them joint top with 20 points.

The 3pm kick off match will be broadcast live on StarTimes Adepa channel 247.
