Gold Stars have been training since the league was suspended; we are ready for Hearts of Oak clash – Coach Michael Osei

Head coach for Bibiani Gold Stars, Michael Osei has assured fans that his team is ready for the clash against Hearts of Oak this weekend.

According to the gaffer, his team never went on break even when the Ghana Premier League was suspended due to the court injunction filed against the Ghana FA by Ashanti Gold SC.

Speaking to Radio Gold Talk Sport in an interview, Coach Michael Osei stressed that his team is travelling to Accra to frustrate and pick points off Hearts of Oak.

“We were already prepared, we were training, we didn’t go for a break during the suspension [of the league]. Whether it’s early or it’s not early, we need to go for the game.

“We have to prepare very well, psychologically, physically, and mentally because it’s a game that we have to be tactically disciplined so that we can frustrate them and get the points and come back to Bibiani,” Coach Michael Osei noted.

The clash between Hearts of Oak and Bibiani Gold Stars is scheduled to be played on Saturday, October 29.

The game will kick off at 3pm at the Accra Sports Stadium.
