Ghana youth midfielder Godfred Donsah is racing against time to be fit for 2015 World Youth Championship with his latest injury scare.
The 18-year-old failed to train with his Cagliari teammates with a bruise on his left leg.
The youngster was replaced in Cagliari’s 4-0 win over Parma on Monday to raise doubt about his involvement for the Black Satellites ahead of the world showpiece.
Donsah is now faces a uphill battle to be fit with the World Yout Championship only 24 days left.
He is yet to report to the Ghana camp, currently in New Zealand preparing for the tournament.
The former Palermo youngster is desperate to play for native country after impressing heavily for the Italian side this term.
