Former Tottenham manager Glenn Hoddle has heaped praise on Mohammed Kudus following his performance in Spurs’ Super Cup final defeat to Paris Saint-Germain.

Kudus, who joined Tottenham from West Ham for £55 million in July on a six-year deal running until 2031, started in the clash against the French champions, which ended 2-2 in regulation time before Spurs lost on penalties.

“He’s got such good talent, such quick feet, and you can see his qualities there.

“The added ingredient for him as a player is consistency,” Hoddle said.

The Ghana midfielder, signed as one of Spurs’ marquee summer arrivals.

Kudus will be hoping to keep his place in the starting line-up for their Premier League opener against Burnley.
