Young forward Gideon Kodua says it was an easy choice to join Luton Town after sealing a season-long loan from West Ham United.
“There are good players here, a good manager and a good fanbase, so it was an easy decision,” the 20-year-old told the club’s website.
The England-born striker with Ghanaian roots reunites with manager Matt Bloomfield, who praised his resilience and leadership qualities.
Kodua captained West Ham’s FA Youth Cup-winning side and becomes Luton’s eighth signing of the summer.
He joins with an option to make the move permanent and could debut when the Hatters open their League One campaign against AFC Wimbledon on Friday, August 1.
