Ghana’s Stephen Acquah scores for Namdhari FC in defeat to Inter Kashi

Ghana midfielder Stephen Acquah scored for Namdhari FC in their thumping defeat to Inter Kashi in the Indian I-League.

The 26-year-old netted the consolation in a 4-1 loss on Sunday in the Indian league round 16 game at the Ekana Football Stadium.

The home sode took the lead in the third of the game through Edmund Lalrindika who was assisted by Mario Villa.

Deepak Devrani added the second goal in the 14th minute after he was set up by Edmund Lalrindika.

Ghana’s Stephen Acquah then halved the deficit for Namdhari FC in the 36th minute when Sehnaj Singh assisted home to ended the first half 2-1.

Seven minutes after the break, Mario Vila made it 3-1 for the hosts after receiving a pass from Jordan Lamela.

Vila again scored with ten minutes to the end of the game to put the game beyond Namdhari FC and complete the resounding win for the home team.

The goal was Stephen Acquah’s first of the season after four appearances.
