Ghana’s Osman Haqi scores fifth goal of the season against Keciorengucu

Osman Haqi scored his fifth goal of the season in the Turkish 1. Lig on Saturday afternoon in Yeni Malatyaspor’s win against Keciorengucu.

Osman’s early goal proved decisive in Malatyaspor’s 1-0 victory over Keciorengucu at the Yeni Malatya Stadium in Round 18. The 20-year-old scored the game’s first goal in the opening minute, assisted by Turkish player Cengizhan Akgun.

Taha Gur took Osman Haqi’s position in the game in the 76th minute. Ghanaian defender Philip Awuku and midfielder Godfred Donsah both played for Malatyaspor.

While Godfred Donsah played the entire game, Philip Awuku was expelled in stoppage time. Malatyaspor climbs up one spot in the league rankings and is now separated from the danger zones by only one point.

Osman has already made 10 appearances in the Turkish second division this season and contributed one assist along with five goals.

Yeni Malatyaspor will take on Denizlispor away on 24th December in their next league game.
