Ghana’s Nasiru Moro expresses gratitude to Örebro SK following contract expiration

Ghanaian centre-back Nasiru Moro has expressed his gratitude to former club Örebro SK following the expiration of his contract.

The Swedish second-tier club announced his departure via a statement on their website after serving a two-and-a-half-year contract.

Nasiru Moro is leaving ÖSK Fotboll after 51 competitive matches with the club. Örebro SK in their statement said, “We would like to extend a big thank you to Nasiru for his time in Örebro”.

In late July 2021, Nasiru Moro signed for Örebro SK, having most recently played for the Croatian club HNK Gorica.

Over two and a half seasons, he featured in a total of 51 competitive matches wearing the black and white jersey.

It is now confirmed that Nasiru Moro is departing the club as his contract expired at the turn of the year.

Reacting to the news, the former Accra Lions man said, “Thanks to everyone in the club, and a big thank you to all the supporters for your wonderful support and the love I have received since joining the club”.
