Ghana’s Mavis Owusu scores a hat-trick as Al Hilal Women defeat Al Suqur in Saudi Arabia

In a dazzling display of skill, Black Queens striker Mavis Owusu left an indelible mark on the Saudi Arabian football scene, securing a triumphant victory for Al Hilal Women against Al Suqur.

The star striker showcased her exceptional talent by netting not one, not two, but three goals, clinching a remarkable hat-trick that echoed across the stadium.

Al Hilal Women beat al Suqur 4-0 in the Saudi Women’s FA Cup.

Owusu has been in excellent form since joining Al Hilal from Ghanaian champions Ampem Darkoa Ladies in October. This was her first career hat-trick in Saudi Arabia.

“Im very much grateful to God for my first hat trick in the Saudi league FA Cup and for the 3points victory,” wrote Owusu on social media after the game.

Al Hilal is one of the eight teams remaining in the competition, alongside Al Fawz, Al Shabab, Al-Ahly, Al-Qadisiyah, Eastern Flame, Al Riyadh, and Al-Ittihad.
