Ibrahim Sadiq has scored his debut goal for AZ Alkmaar in the Europa Conference League but was not enough as they lost heavily to Aston Villa.
The Ghanaian striker had his dream goal after 64 minutes as consolation in their 4-1 defeat to the English Premier League side.
Aston Villa secured the win thanks to goals from Leon Baily,Youri Tielemans, Ollie Watkins and John McGins
The result leaves the Dutch outfit bottom of Group E of the Europa Conference League.
Sadiq joined AZ Alkmaar from Sweedish outfit Hackens in this year’ssummer transfer window.
He has played nine matches with a goal since joining the club.
