Cosmos Dauda, a former Hearts of Oak attacker, has won his second title with Oman’s Al-Seeb.
On Saturday, Al Seeb defeated Malaysian side Kuala Lumpur City 3-0 in the final of the 2022 AFC Cup.
Al-Seeb won their second title in two months with three goals from Ali Al-Busaidi, Abdul Al-Muqbali, and Muhsen Al-Ghassani.
Al Seeb defeated Bahrain’s Al Riffa 4-0 in the zonal final. Dauda got his name on the scoresheet when Al Riffa defeated Uzbekistan club, Sogdiana, 5-3 on penalties after a scoreless draw during regulation.
Dauda entered the game for Salaah Al Yahyaei in the 75th minute and played 25 minutes.
He enjoyed a fantastic season with Oman Club in 2021–2022, scoring 10 goals in 7 games until he crossed paths with Al–Seed in July of this year.
Dauda contributed to the club’s success in August when they defeated Al-Nahda 2-0 in the Super Cup final.
