Ghana’s Ambassador to South Korea, Kojo Choi, paid a special visit to the Black Stars in Seoul to encourage the squad ahead of their friendly against the host nation. During his visit, Choi praised the team’s efforts in securing qualification for the 2026 FIFA World Cup in Canada, Mexico, and the United States, offering words of motivation to lift their spirits after recent setbacks.

The ambassador’s presence was a timely morale boost for the team, who are looking to rebound from a 2-0 loss to Japan last Friday. Born in South Korea and appointed earlier this year, Choi’s unique background highlights the strong diplomatic and cultural ties between the two nations.

The Black Stars will take on South Korea on Tuesday, November 18, 2025, at the World Cup Stadium in Seoul, aiming to channel the ambassador’s encouragement into a spirited performance.
