Ghanaian player Alfred Mensah has joined Romanian side CSM Reșița on an initial loan with an option to make the deal permanent.
The third-tier club confirmed Mensah’s acquisition last week in a statement on their social media handles.
“We welcome the players, Trancă Remus, Alfred Boateng Mensah and Dane Alexandru to the Valley of Doman!” the statement said.
“Alfred Boateng Mensah is a central midfielder born in 1996 and developed at: Zeeburgia, Magreb 90′ USV Herculealmere City U21, Hurricane Morag, Pandurii Târgu Jiu.”
The 27-year-old Dutch-born midfielder was without a club before being trialed by the Romania side.
Clubul Sportiv Muncitoresc Reșița, who are known as the Red and Blacks, are currently top of the Romania League III and are chasing promotion into the second tier this season.
