Ghanaian youngster Alex Opoku Sarfo continues to shine in the Cypriot topflight, earning a nomination for Aris Limassol FC’s Player of the Month for May.
The 20-year-old midfielder has enjoyed a standout season since moving from Ghanaian side Benab FC to Europe. After an earlier loan spell at AEZ Zakakiou, Opoku Sarfo returned to Aris Limassol and quickly established himself as a key figure in their midfield setup.
In the recently concluded season, the dynamic midfielder made over 30 league appearances, helping Aris Limassol secure a second-place finish in the Cypriot First Division.
His consistent performances have been instrumental in the club’s qualification for the UEFA Europa Conference League second qualifying round.
Now in contention for the club’s final Player of the Month award for the 2024/25 season, Opoku Sarfo is up against tough competition, including Senegalese striker Yannick Gomis, Polish midfielder Karol Struski, and South African winger Mihlali Mayambela.
