Youngster Mugeese Zakaria was on target for SC Ashdod as they won 3-2 against Netanya in the Israeli Ligat Ha’al league.
The midfielder got the opener in the 2nd minute of the first half for SC Ashdod through an assist from Harush.
Three minutes after Zakaria’s goal, Cvetkovic doubled their lead before Avraham reduced the deficit as the first 45 minutes ended 2-1 in favor of the host.
Y. Brihon put SC Ashdod 3-1 up but Zlatanovic converted it from the spot as the visitors tried embarking on a comeback but could not get it over line.
Mugeese has now featured 17 times and scored five goals across all competitions in the 2022/23 season.
