18-year-old midfielder Kofi Jeremy Amoako has emerged as the latest addition to VfL Wolfsburg’s winter training camp.

The German-born youngster, heralded by a noteworthy debut against SV Darmstadt 98, where he contributed to a 1-0 victory on the penultimate matchday before the winter break, is poised to amplify his presence within the professional squad.

As reported by Kicker, Amoako’s inclusion in Wolfsburg’s winter training camp marks a pivotal juncture in his burgeoning career. Having recently tasted the intensity of professional football, his rapid progression is underscored by this coveted opportunity to develop his skills further and integrate seamlessly into the seasoned squad.

Amoako’s breakthrough follows consistent stellar performances for Wolfsburg’s U19 squad, where he showcased his prowess in the heart of the midfield across all 12 games in the Junior Bundesliga this season. Such was his impact that the young midfielder earned the captaincy of the U19 team.

After the winter training camp Wolfsburg will clash with Mainz on January 13th.
