Fomer Ghana U20 midfielder Mahmud Abdul Karimu has joined Latvia top-flight side Metta.

The 21 year old was a former player of FC Shabab Al-Ahli Dubai but left following the expiration of his contract.

Abdul moved to the Latvian outfit on a free transfer in search of more playing time from UAE side Al-Taawon.

Mahmud Abdul Karimu started his career with Ghanaian third-tier club, DeGunners FC before a brief spell with fellow lower-tier club Inter Millas.
