Ghanaian youngster Justin Diehl returns to action ahead of FC Koln’s game against Werder Bremen

German-born Ghanaian youngster Justin Diehl has bounced back from illness and is set to rejoin FC Koln’s lineup just in time for their upcoming clash against Werder Bremen.

After a nearly two-week absence due to illness, Diehl has recovered and is once again at the disposal of the team. His return presents a promising option for FC Koln as they look to secure a victory in their next match.

Despite limited playing time prior to his setback, Diehl’s availability for the upcoming fixture suggests he could feature prominently on Friday against Werder Bremen, as reported by the GEISSBLOG.

The 19-year-old offensive player showcased his skills in FC Köln’s draw against Wolfsburg on January 27th.

In the game against Wolfsburg, Faride Alidou scored the first goal for FC Koln with a header from the centre of the box to the top left corner following a set piece situation in the 38th minute.

Justin Diehl came on in the 76th minute to replace Dejan Ljubicic.

Kevin Paredes scored the equalizer with a left footed shot from very close range to the centre of the goal. Paredes goal was assisted by Joakim Mæhle.
